New IFAW blog: Rain and Elephants![]() Hi everyone, Just to let you know my latest blog is live on the IFAW site - click here to read it. And here are some more photos to accompany the story - many are mud-themed! We are hoping for yet more rain and although much of it is falling outside the Park at the moment, Amboseli looks beautiful and green. It's great news for people and animals in the ecosystem - the Maasai don't have to bring their livestock all the way into the Park for water now. And our camp water source has reappeared after a short absence - much to my delight as it means slightly longer showers again! Best, Vicki

Hello Vicki, my name is Meagan and I don't really know a lot about Amboseli's research and elephants! But these are really beautiful pictures especially the ones of Leila! Is she the daughter of Lillian?
Thanks!
PS: I saw pictures on Cynthia's facebook page under "Amboseli's Beautiful Matriarchs" and saw Lillian! When was Leila born??
Thanks
