Portraits in the Wild

I received the first edition copy of Portraits in the Wild I bought on eBay today in the mail. I was excited to finally complete my Cynthia Moss collection, and it's interesting to look at the elephant chapter. Written before most of the work of Cynthia, Joyce, and their colleagues, there is no mention of things like musth or infrasonic communication. It's amazing to see how far things have progressed with elephant research and how AERP researchers have discovered so many of the basic things we know about elephants today.
